Project sponsors may submit their initiatives by completing the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.odess.io\/suggest-an-initiative.html\">online form<\/a>.\u00a0The projects selected will be listed in the Global South eHealth Observatory: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.odess.io\/home.html\">www.odess.io<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The eHealth Observatory expert committee will then select the most relevant initiatives, which will become <strong>Observatory award winners<\/strong>. These awards will be presented at the Observatory annual conference to be held in early July at the headquarters of Fondation Pierre Fabre. Since 2016, 29 award winning projects have received a full year of financial and technical support.<\/p>\n<p><a Global South eHealth Observatory expert committee\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With 7 permanent members and one award member appointed for the year, the expert committee monitors and reviews the missions of the eHealth\u00a0 Observatory, and is actively involved in selecting the award winners announced at the annual conference.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gilles Babinet<\/strong>, serial entrepreneur and the French government\u2019s Digital Champion at the European Commission.<br \/>\n<strong>Cheick Oumar Bagayoko<\/strong>, Associate Professor in Medical Informatics, Director of the Centre d\u2019Expertise et de Recherche en T\u00e9l\u00e9m\u00e9decine et E-Sant\u00e9 (CERTES) and General Coordinator of the R\u00e9seau en Afrique Francophone pour la T\u00e9l\u00e9m\u00e9decine (RAFT).<br \/>\n<strong>Mehdi Benchoufi<\/strong>, physician and head of clinic at the H\u00f4tel Dieu (Paris), expert in digital technologies and founder of the Club JADE think tank.<br \/>\n<strong>Jean-Luc Cl\u00e9ment<\/strong>, a university professor who is now Research Advisor at the Delegation for European and International Relations and Cooperation (DREIC)<br \/>\nat the French Ministry of National Education, Higher Education and Research.<br \/>\n<strong>Demba Diallo<\/strong> founding partner of consultancy firm Innhotep, which uses innovative solutions to accelerate company growth.<br \/>\n<strong>Jai Ganesh Udayasankaran<\/strong>, an expert in health and telehealth information technologies, and a member of the Asia eHealth Information Network (AeHIN)<br \/>\ngoverning committee<br \/>\n<strong>Catherine de Rohan Chabot<\/strong>, a pharmacist by training, and now a health sector communication specialist.<br \/>\n<strong>One award
